Swadlincote Police have issued a warning to anyone visiting local beauty spots this weekend to control their behaviour - and not to use staff as 'social punching bags'.
With hot days forecast, Swadlincote Safer Neighbourhood Team want to avoid previous problems such as those endured at Foremark Reservoir.
Last month, police reported on a 'day of shame' and 'full throttle anti social behaviour' 'Wanton destruction' at South Derbyshire beauty spot.
They likened some of the antics to the TV show Benidorm.
Now, Swadlincote SNT have posted a warning on their Facebook page: "If you're going to visit one of our many beauty spots, such as Foremark Reservoir near Ticknall, then please don't spoil them with litter, anti-social behaviour or illegal parking.
"Remember, the beauty spots are staffed by some incredibly kind and hard working individuals who work tirelessly to ensure we can all enjoy the stunning surroundings.
"They are not there to function as social punching bags and acts of aggression will not be tolerated towards them.
"Also our roads, country lanes and rural areas will be busy, with horse riders and bike riders. so please slow down and pass safely
"Your Safer Neighbourhood Team, will be out patrolling so if you see us out and about come and say hello.
"We want you to enjoy the hot temperatures and have a fabulous weekend with your family and friends.
"Remember to apply sun cream, drink plenty of fluids and make sure you take care of those that are vulnerable in this kind of heat, especially our much loved pets, who definitely shouldn't be left in boiling hot vehicles!"
