Driver Fails To Stop After Knocking 18-year-old Off Her Bike In Midway: Police Appeal For Information

An 18-year-old woman was knocked off her bike in Midway and needed hospital treatment.

But the driver of the car failed to stop and Derbyshire Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage following the collision.

A small black car allegedly clipped her wheel as she was travelling along Burton Road, at Midway, between 7.50pm and 8pm on Tuesday, September 29.

She injured her knee and had to go to hospital.

Officers have been making inquiries, but are now appealing to the public for help to trace the driver.

Derbyshire Police posted on social media and said: "Did you witness the incident, or were you in the area around the time of the incident and have dashcam footage which may be useful?

"If you think you can help which please get in touch get in touch using one of the non emergency methods below.

"Please quote reference number 20*513125 and the name of the officer in the case, PC Matt Boyer, in any correspondence.
